Free-agent running back Qadree Ollison is joining the Steelers' practice squad. The 26-year-old has appeared in 19 games throughout his career. However, after amassing four touchdowns as a rookie, he hasn't been nearly as productive ever since. Ollison, who was recently cut by the Jacksonville Jaguars, poses no threat to earn significant playing time this season, meaning fantasy managers should look past him heading into the 2023-24 campaign. But at the very least, he could get on the field during the regular season if Najee Harris, Jaylen Warren, or Anthony McFarland Jr. goes down with an injury.

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Lynn Bowden has played a partial role in the offense over the past few weeks with Rashid Shaheed (thigh) missing time. Shaheed has logged back-to-back limited practices, indicating that he has a chance to be on the field on Sunday against the New York Giants. Shaheed's status in this game will determine Bowden's role. If Shaheed plays, Bowden cannot be considered in lineups. If he misses, Bowden is a deep league flier against a New York defense surrendering the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing receivers. Chris Olave (ankle) is likely to miss, giving plenty of target opportunities to the rest of the Saints' weapons.
Still trying to decide between Ollison and Bowden Jr.? Check on the latest news to make sure both players are active and healthy. Our PPR projections show that Qadree Ollison is projected to score 0.0 points this week while Lynn Bowden Jr. is projected to score 0.0 points.
